By the month of December 2011, the company had served over 5 million customers. Genesis Deluxe Cinemas has cinemas located in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Vibrant Enugu. Our strategy to continue to grow in all major cities of the country will have us opening in more locations in 2013. Overview

  • As a Production Manager at our esteemed movie studio, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless execution of film productions from inception to completion.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of the production process, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and creative objectives.
  • This position requires exceptional organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the filmmaking process.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production

  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and department heads to develop production schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate logistics such as location scouting, casting, crew hiring, and equipment procurement.
  • Facilitate script breakdowns and ensure all elements are in place for a smooth production phase.

Production:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations on set, ensuring that the production stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Resolve any production-related issues promptly to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Manage the logistics of transportation, catering, and other on-set necessities.

Post-Production:

  • Liaise with post-production teams to ensure seamless transition from filming to editing and final delivery.
  • Monitor post-production schedules and budgets, addressing any discrepancies or delays.
  • Oversee the delivery of final film elements and associated paperwork.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Monitor expenditures throughout the production process and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet production requirements while adhering to financial constraints.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and motivate production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, encouraging professional growth and development.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to film production.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures to protect the well-being of cast, crew, and assets.
