Founded in 2010 under the name Gemstone Publishers and fully incorporated as a Private Limited Liability Company under the name Emages Multimedia Ltd in 2018 in a bid to broaden our numerous media operations. At Emages, we publish our own products, brands and also that of other companies’ products and services.
Role Description
- This is a contract role for a Public Relations and Media Officer.
- As a Public Relations and Media Officer, you will be responsible for managing press releases, media relations, and public relations.
- You will also be involved in strategic communications and communication initiatives.
- This is a hybrid role, allowing for both in-office work at our Ikeja location and some remote work flexibility.
Qualifications
- To be considered for this contract roles/position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in multimedia industry, preferably in a creative and digital environment.
- Skills in Press Releases, Media Relations, and Public Relations
- Strong understanding of multimedia strategies, including public relations, multimedia sales, social media marketing, and content marketing.
- Experience with multimedia and creative marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Adobe Suite and Corel Draw
- Experience in Communication and Strategic Communications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create compelling content
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
