Your Mission as a Sales Agent

As a Sales Agent for OTG Africa, you will be pivotal in broadening our market presence. Your primary focus will be identifying, engaging, and onboarding businesses to the OTG Africa platform. This is not just about making connections; it's about building sustainable, valuable partnerships that drive user downloads and expand OTG Africa\\\\\\\'s footprint. We are looking for results-driven professionals with a knack for mobile advertising, SaaS, and digital solutions, excellent communication, and a proven ability to cultivate strong business relationships.

What You Will Be Doing

Business Onboarding & Sales Generation

  • Lead Identification & Qualification: Discover and research potential business partners (like cafes, restaurants, co-working spaces, hotels, and libraries) through online searches, networking, and industry publications. Ensure these leads align with OTG Africa\\\\\\\'s target audience and business objectives.
  • Pipeline Development: Implement innovative strategies to build a robust pipeline of potential businesses.
  • Relationship Building: Identify and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers within target industries, showcasing the value of partnering with OTG Africa.
  • Platform Integration: Guide businesses through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand how to effectively utilize the OTG Africa platform to connect with users and provide their services.
  • Business Promotion: Represent OTG Africa at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to secure new business partnerships.

Market Insights & Collaboration

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify emerging trends, understand the competitive landscape, and spot new business opportunities relevant to OTG Africa\\\\\\\'s growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Sales Managers to ensure a smooth transition of newly onboarded businesses. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align your efforts with broader company objectives.
  • Reporting: Track and report on your key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business onboarding and partnership activities, providing regular updates to management.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the mobile advertising, SaaS, or technology industry.
  • A proven track record of securing new business partnerships and building lasting relationships.
  • A solid understanding of the mobile advertising and digital marketing landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong networking abilities, comfortable building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software for managing leads and tracking progress.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working effectively independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
  • In-depth knowledge of the local business community and established networks.
  • Prior experience with Wi-Fi or location-based services.
  • An existing network of contacts within target industries is a significant plus.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a commission-based role, where your earning potential is directly tied to your success in bringing businesses onto the OTG Africa platform.

  • You will be paid ?10,000 Naira for every business you successfully onboard onto the OTG Africa platform. Your primary target is to drive platform usage, contributing to our goal of 10,000 app downloads from the businesses you bring in.
  • To support your field activities, you will receive a ?25,000 Naria monthly transport subsidy.
