Our LOCATE project; a CDC/PEPFAR HIV prevention, care and treatment program is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position: CLINICAL CARE SPECIALIST [Imo State] Overall Job Function: This position provides technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with organization clinicians and health facility- based site teams to implement care and antiretroviral treatment services.
Job Description
- Provide strategic, innovative, and operational leadership to the technology team, through effective communication, mentorship, and strategic guidance, that will foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, conducive to innovation and productivity.
- Provide leadership and strategic support to our offices in HQ, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River State, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique technological needs. His/her proactive approach will be tailored to solutions that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services in these regions.
- Deliver innovative ideas to optimize the ECEWS IT infrastructure and enhance performance. Through strategic initiatives and technological advancements, he/she will implement cost-effective solutions that streamline operations and improve the overall performance of our office and facility networks.
- He/she will effectively safeguard ECEWS critical data and systems, mitigate potential breaches, and ensure the integrity of the ECEWS IT infrastructure within the project and ECEWS as an institution.
- Demonstrate exceptional project management skills in completing and managing several solar system installation projects. This showcases their versatility and ability to handle diverse technological initiatives with proficiency and professionalism.
- He/She will play a leading role in ensuring that ECEWS and its projects purchase authentic IT devices, mitigating the risks associated with counterfeit products. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance ensure the reliability and durability of our technological assets, safeguarding our investments.
- Provide key IT leadership in collaboration with other IT leads within other ECEWS Projects, providing key IT innovation, strategic solutions, and effective backend support for ECEWS information technology solutions.
- Any other duties as performed.
Minimum Recruitment Standard
- 5-8 years of experience providing end-user phone support for current PC desktop and application software OR installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing personal computers in a network environment.
- BS/BA degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or its recognized equivalent with at least 2 years post National Youth Service relevant experience.
- High School diploma with an associate degree preferred, or the international equivalent.
- Must possess expertise in monitoring and protecting ECEWS servers from cyber threats. Through robust security measures and proactive risk management strategies
- Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO). Equivalent combination of education and experience.
