Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior IT Officer to manage the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and alignment with business objectives. The role involves leading a team, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining IT hardware and software in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
IT Systems and Hardware Management:
- Configure, repair, maintain, and upgrade IT hardware and software systems.
- Ensure the efficient operation of IT infrastructure, including intercom and land phone systems.
System Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, repair, and maintain biometric machines and CCTV systems.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of IT security measures.
Network Administration:
- Manage network configurations, troubleshooting, and ensure seamless connectivity.
- Ensure the integrity and security of data within the organization.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT protocols and industry best practices.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
- Provide technical training and support to staff as required.
Problem Solving and Support:
- Address and resolve complex technical issues promptly.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Proficiency:
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and network administration.
- Expertise in biometric systems, CCTV installations, and communication systems.
Leadership Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT challenges.
