Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Executive to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical support team and providing advanced IT support to ensure the smooth operation of our organization's IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Escalate critical issues to appropriate teams or vendors when necessary.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor the IT support team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Manage the daily operations of the IT support team, including task assignment, performance monitoring, and coaching.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on the latest technologies and best practices.
System Maintenance and Optimization:
- Oversee the maintenance, installation, and configuration of IT systems and equipment.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard the organization's IT assets.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of technical issues, solutions, and processes.
- Generate regular reports on IT support activities, system performance, and team metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve IT support services.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate support.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on IT projects and issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware and software procurement and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) is a plus.
