Responsibilities
What you work:

  • Will be the single point of contact and Level 2 Support for all the Customers in West Africa to mitigate all issues.
  • Will have to handle all the issues raised by Customers and should resolve the issues within the defined SLA. Should be ready to visit sites as well to resolve issues if need be.
  • Should coordinate with R&D and testing teams for the issues resolution and determine the Root cause. Resolutions and Root cause analysis should be shared to the customer within SLA. * Conduct Monthly operations review with all customers to resolve all outstanding issues. * Share weekly SLA and project report to Customers and internally.
  • Coordinate with the subcontractors for the Installation and commissioning and technically support the I&C teams for site issues and testing.
  • Prepare project plan and follow the project schedule maintaining strict I&C and equipment quality control exceeding customer expectations.
  • Perform bi weekly Network and NMS Health checks and rectify the issues identified during the checks.
  • Follow up and track with R&D and testing team for bugs rectification and enhancements and maintain bugs and enhancement tracker for the closure.
  • Should be able to perform Proof of concept tests at site.

Requirements
Mandatory skills:

  • Should be proficient in Technologies like DWDM, OTN, FTTH (OLT & ONT) equipment’s issues Troubleshooting and resolution (should have been a part of TAC2/3 team).
  • Should have been a part of I&C and testing of DWDM and OTN equipment’s.

Desired skills:

  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors in Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunication).
  • Work experience: 5 - 10 years in telecom product based companies
  • NMS, L2,L3 switch, Ip, MPLS TP experience in Troubleshooting and configuration.
