About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Operator Support Specialist (Level 3) to oversee and provide onsite support for routine operator duty activities, including inspection, data capture, data transmission, scheduling, review, reporting, and risk management by exception. This senior role ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation while guiding junior support staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide advanced onsite support for operator routine duties, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  2. Oversee and validate data capture, transmission, and reporting processes.
  3. Lead the scheduling, tracking, and review of operator tasks and activities.
  4. Perform risk management by exception, identifying deviations and implementing corrective measures.
  5. Develop, review, and optimize inspection and reporting workflows.
  6. Prepare detailed operational reports and performance reviews for management.
  7. Act as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 operator support staff.
  8. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and HSE teams to enhance operational standards.
  9. Mentor and train junior staff, promoting best practices in routine duty execution.
  10. Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality standards in all activities.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  2. 10+ years’ experience in field operations, inspection, or operator support roles.
  3. Strong expertise in data capture, analysis, and reporting tools.
  4. Proven experience with scheduling systems, risk management frameworks, and compliance standards.
  5. Familiarity with oil & gas, energy, or industrial operational environments is highly preferred.
  6. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  7. Leadership ability with experience mentoring junior or mid-level staff.
  8. Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, Operational Excellence, Risk Management) are an advantage.
