Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Content Creator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media and have a knack for showcasing the complexities and importance of the logistics industry in an engaging way. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies across various platforms, creating compelling content that highlights our services, expertise, and the value we bring to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on showcasing our logistics services.
  • Create engaging and original content (text, images, video) that tells the story of our logistics operations, including behind-the-scenes glimpses, client success stories, and industry insights.
  • Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring online conversations, addressing customer inquiries.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and apply that knowledge to improve our social media presence within the logistics space.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), demonstrating the impact of social media on brand awareness and lead generation within the logistics sector.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency and achieve marketing objectives related to logistics services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media algorithms and best practices, as well as industry trends in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Run social media advertising campaigns and monitor their effectiveness, targeting businesses and individuals who require logistics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar focused on relevant logistics topics.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in social media content creation and management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and graphic design software.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and engaging content that effectively communicates complex logistics concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A creative mindset and passion for social media.
  • Knowledge of the logistics industry and supply chain management is a plus.
  • Understanding of Nigerian business and logistics landscape.
