Job Summary:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing creative and data-driven social media strategies that amplify brand presence, drive engagement, and deliver measurable results for clients. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a strong content creator, and well-versed in social trends, platform algorithms, and community management—particularly within the fast-paced environment of a marketing and advertising agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for clients across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Create engaging, brand-aligned content (text, image, and video) in collaboration with the creative team.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
  • Monitor, respond to, and engage with audiences across platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, conversion) and prepare monthly reports.
  • Stay updated on platform updates, trends, best practices, and viral moments to inform content and strategy.
  • Coordinate social media campaigns with digital advertising, influencer marketing, and PR efforts.
  • Manage client social media calendars and ensure content aligns with campaign goals and brand tone.
  • Lead or support social media strategy presentations for clients or internal stakeholders.
  • Manage social media crises or negative feedback with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within an agency or brand.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills.
  • Proficient in using social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific algorithms and content trends.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a results-driven approach.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
  • Experience working with influencers or paid social campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing integration.
