The Church Office (Inspiration Life Community Church) is seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. This role is key to strengthening our online presence, engaging our community, promoting church events, and ensuring that our digital platforms reflect the vision and mission of the ministry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute monthly social media content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, TikTok, Threads, and YouTube.
- Run paid social media ads to grow page reach and follower engagement.
- Create and edit engaging content (posts, reels, stories, event highlights) using Canva, CapCut, and other tools.
- Capture photos and videos of services, events, and special programs for digital storytelling.
- Serve as the digital voice of the church by responding to comments, DMs, and inquiries promptly.
- Support the promotion of church services, conferences, outreaches, and special events through creative online campaigns.
- Track, analyze, and report performance metrics with recommendations for growth.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in digital media and apply best practices to church platforms.
- Be actively involved in the life of the church, attending all church services, events, and special programs as part of media coverage and engagement responsibilities.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 1–5 years’ experience managing social media for a brand, church, or nonprofit.
- Proficiency in social media ads management and audience growth strategies.
- Strong skills in Canva, CapCut, and other editing applications (experience with templates, brand kits, and animations is an advantage).
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Threads, WhatsApp Business, and basic video editing.
- Excellent copywriting skills with a deep understanding of Nigerian culture, humor, and slang.
- Experience engaging diaspora or immigrant communities.
Skills
- Photography or videography skills (phone or professional).
- Basic graphic design knowledge.
- Prior experience in real estate, Airbnbs, or housing-related social media is an added advantage.
