  • We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager/Content Creator who is proficient in video editing and adept at utilizing mobile devices to create engaging content.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • They will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies across various social media channels to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive traffic.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media content strategies to align with the Church's goals and objectives.
  • Create high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content for social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Produce and edit video content using professional editing software and mobile applications.
  • Manage the content calendar to ensure consistent posting and maintain a cohesive brand image across all platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and conversations, and actively engage with the audience to build relationships and foster community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the other team members to develop campaigns and promotions that drive engagement and increase followership.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyse and report on social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and use insights to optimize content strategies.

Qualifications:

  • No degree required for this role but a Bachelor's degree in Communication, digital media or any related field will be a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in live broadcast engineering.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or Content Creator, with a portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and video content.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools, as well as mobile video editing applications.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
