Position Overview:

As a Social Media Manager Intern, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our social media strategies to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. Your role will be to oversee our blog's social media pages, curate content, and engage with our audience to foster community growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the blog's social media pages, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences.
  • Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns and strategies to drive traffic to our blog and increase engagement.
  • Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing social media pages, particularly for blogs or digital publications.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
