Responsibilities

  • Ensure GBNL Network infrastructure is up and running & functions optimally
  • Co-ordinate and ensure maximum service delivery of vendor and consultants
  • Create/ Maintain enhance route filter in all depot locations network routers and firewalls.
  • Manage IT Networks and infrastructure
  • Support and maintain Network connection and security.
  • Responsible for oversight of the IT Helpdesk
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and promotion of departmental philosophies and methodologies relating to Helpdesk.
  • Support users of IT systems by understanding their systems to ensure timely problem resolution and to minimize service interruptions.
  • Add, remove, or update user account information, reset passwords, etc
  • Analyse system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot any reported problems
  • Perform routine audits of systems and software
  • Perform data backups
  • Give online support to other regions
  • Monitor the activities of the server and relate with the central database.
  • Coordinate with logistics to send Computers to Regions when required.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
