Job Description
- Review contractual documents including plans/specifications as well as customer requirements and expectations to work with the project team to develop the project deliverables, milestones, and schedule.
- Ensure the design is compliant with all industry specific, local, state, and national regulations.
- Using a consultative approach with the customer, in combination with provided drawings, specifications and other documents, develop a comprehensive system design and relevant documents.
- In conjunction with the development of the design, conduct site surveys as necessary to capture relevant information.
- Work with HTS on design development process and critical design reviews for all project opportunities.
- Clearly communicate project scope and requirements to contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Develop cost estimates including design costs, material costs, and installation costs.
- Execute approved/assigned projects to agreed baselines.
- Provide customer support for the installed system remotely as well as onsite visits as necessary.
- Assist with the development and mentoring of the Technicians.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of internal standards and templates.
- Provide customer support for installed system with over-the-phone troubleshooting, as well as emergency site visits.

Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc / B.Eng / HND Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in electronic security systems and training on multiple vendors’ security equipment. At least 2 years leading a technical team.
- Proficient with software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD.
- Prince2 Project Management Practitioner.
- Employee should also be familiar in the use of the following or similar systems: Software House, Lenel, Avigilon, Bosch, Axis, Tyco, Exacq, Kantech, DSC, Honeywell and NICE.
- Project Management certification (Prince2) and other IT certifications (CCNA, CCNP, MCP, A+ etc.) would be an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Experience in IT network installations including fiber optic cabling/termination. An acceptable and equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
