About the job
- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or chat.
- Document and log all support requests on Office Amp
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to vendor support teams when necessary.
- Follow up with users to ensure issues are fully resolved.
- Monitor system performance and proactively respond to alerts.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and system checks.
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and testing new software and hardware.
- Monitor systems for unauthorized access or unusual activity and escalate as needed.
- Ensure all security protocols, including data encryption and secure access, are followed.
- Conduct regular system audits to maintain compliance with organizational policies.
- Organize firm-wide security awareness training
- Support data backup processes to prevent data loss.
- Ensure proper data organization, accessibility, and retrieval.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity by identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hard or Applied sciences such as computer science, engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience (Post NYSC) in technology, preferably in the investment industry or related financial services sector.
- Knowledge in driving and supporting technology.
- Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), software applications, and basic networking concepts.
- Knowledge on information security trends and security protocols
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
