About the job

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or chat.
  • Document and log all support requests on Office Amp
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to vendor support teams when necessary.
  • Follow up with users to ensure issues are fully resolved.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively respond to alerts.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and system checks.
  • Assist in deploying, configuring, and testing new software and hardware.
  • Monitor systems for unauthorized access or unusual activity and escalate as needed.
  • Ensure all security protocols, including data encryption and secure access, are followed.
  • Conduct regular system audits to maintain compliance with organizational policies.
  • Organize firm-wide security awareness training
  • Support data backup processes to prevent data loss.
  • Ensure proper data organization, accessibility, and retrieval.
  • Assist in maintaining data integrity by identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hard or Applied sciences such as computer science, engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience (Post NYSC) in technology, preferably in the investment industry or related financial services sector.
  • Knowledge in driving and supporting technology.
  • Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), software applications, and basic networking concepts.
  • Knowledge on information security trends and security protocols
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
