Elite Star Foundation is a child-centered non-profit organization established in 2021 in Nigeria to promote and protect the rights and well-being of every child in the society. The Elite Star Foundation is working towards creating a safe and happy childhood for every Nigerian child, a childhood free from all forms of abuses and neglects. We are working hard to realize our vision of a world where every child can grow up safe, happy, and able to achieve their dreams We aim to play a significant role in giving children all over Nigeria a voice while upholding the highest standard of child protection through advocacy, awareness, education and response support service. We are here to defend the children whose rights are violated, we protect the most vulnerable children, we make the rights of the child accessible. - As a Volunteer Social Media Manager, you will play a vital role in amplifying our voice and raising awareness about our critical work.
- You will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that showcases the impact we have on the lives of vulnerable children in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic social media plan to increase brand awareness and engagement across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok).
- Create compelling content (text, images, videos) that resonates with our target audience and effectively communicates our mission, vision, and impact stories.
- Schedule and publish social media posts on a regular basis.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Track social media analytics and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their functionalities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative and enthusiastic with a passion for storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with non-profit organizations and social causes a plus.
