The Wellbeing Foundation Africa - Founded in 2004, The Wellbeing Foundation Africa (WBFA) was created with the aim of improving health outcomes for women, infants and children whilst working towards the systemic and structural changes in the areas of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Gender Equality and Opportunity (GEO). At the WBFA, we combine our programmes with advocacy work in Nigeria and around the world allowing every health worker, mother and child access to life altering advice, opportunities and health solutions.
As Advocacy, Communications, and Campaign Manager, you will play a central role in driving high-impact public advocacy campaigns, strengthening our media presence, and advancing our mission through strategic storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and policy influence. You will work across teams and programs to craft compelling narratives that shift public perception, shape policy, and catalyse action.
- You will create and implement the Foundation's advocacy, communication, and policy strategy, while translating our work into genuine and actionable narratives.

- The successful candidate will report to the WBFA Director of Policy, Advocacy, Innovation, Research, and Development and collaborate with the Global Office of the Founder-President as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of WBFA’s advocacy and communications strategy.
- Facilitate high-level discussions, engage stakeholders and organise round-tables.
- Develop and manage integrated media campaigns aligned with key thematic areas (e.g., SRHR, nutrition, climate & health).
- Oversee the creation and dissemination of high-quality content (press releases, op-eds, policy briefs, social media assets, etc.).
- Drive WBFA’s digital presence, engagement, and growth across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook).
- Coordinate with program and policy teams to align advocacy messaging with evidence and field realities.
- Represent WBFA in advocacy coalitions, media engagements, and public forums.
- Monitor media and policy trends to inform campaign strategy and rapid response communications.
- Support internal capacity-building in communications and campaign design.
Skills and Experience:
- BA/BSc/HND in a related field; a Master’s degree or advanced certificate in Communications is an advantage.
- Track record in delivering advocacy and communications work, preferably in policy, or NGO/civil society.
- Excellent writing skills across a range of formats and for a range of audiences, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling storytelling.
- Strong digital media and design understanding.
- Effective face-to-face communication with diverse backgrounds, including high-profile individuals and organisations.
- A strategic mindset and the ability to offer and receive constructive feedback.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with drive and at pace. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, handling uncertainty and change with problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organisational skills with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
