- The ideal candidate for the role must possess the ability to work on Linux OS” and an excellent knowledge of software integration and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and external clients when required
- Managing ticketed query system and ensuring a comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
- Prioritizing workload to ensure the most critical issues are resolved first
- Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
- Identifying and resolving technical issues promptly
- Managing coordination at a different level where required
- Delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business
- Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization’s systems
- Assisting with systems integrations
- Developing reports for teams across the business
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
- 1-3 years + of experience as an application support staff preferably in a similar environment.
- Ability to work on LINUX OS”
- Good knowledge of software integration and testing.
- Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge
- Sound knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications, and software
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Listening ability and patience
- Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience
