  • The Billing Specialist is responsible for overseeing and performing types of all telecom billing functions and ensuring billing is accurate and goes out each month on time and on Real-time basis. This position reports to the Sr. Billing Manager and Billing Head. This is an on Oracle BRM Platform and only
  • one position.
  • Candidate must adhere and add to the operational processes that ensure an accurate bill to all customers. You will work with both internal and external customers to resolve billing problems and work with our vendors to deliver an accurate and on time rating and billing to our customers.
  • The applicant must have experience in Telecom billing. The candidate must show demonstrated expertise in the entire telecom billing process. Experience with My SQL and Oracle databases and MS Skills (Access, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.) is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 4 Year Technical Degree or B. Tech Degree.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 years’ experience running billing systems in the telecommunications industry
  • Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting billing issues
  • Very experienced with Linux, Windows Operating System
  • Proficient in web standards and technologies: HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Databases: Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c; MySQL
  • Demonstrated ability in making sure uptime of solutions and ability to work on Change requests and Projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full understanding of telecom billing is a must
  • Enters new customers into the billing system
  • Investigates Tickets < Operations Issues and CDRs that could not be rated on a daily basis
  • Works closely with vendors to resolve trouble tickets
  • Works closely with vendors to manage system upgrades and enhancements
  • Responsible for entering customer and carrier rates accurately.
  • Responsible for entering Discounts, Incentive, commissions accurately
  • Responsible for accurate billing of all customers and Entire Customer Management and Subscriber Management.
  • Responsible for scheduling each billing cycle in our case daily – Auto renewals and ensuring it goes out on time without issues.
  • Ensures proper integration and testing between the billing system and our various online portals like online payment gateways, Shops and KYC platforms.
