Rainoil Limited is a leading downstream oil marketing company; primary products which include (PMS), Diesel (AGO) and Kerosene (DPK). Rainoil Limited was incorporated in November 1994, commencing operations in May 1997. In 1999, Rainoil Limited acquired its first service station. Rainoil’s operations currently span across the downstream value chain i.e. Tank Farm Storage, Petroleum Product Haulage/Distribution and Bulk/Retail Sales Operations. : From one service station, the company’s assets/facilities have grown over the last 17 years to include: • An ultra-modern multi-product storage depot with a combined capacity of 50 million litres in Oghara, Delta State; with a proximally located, exclusive Jetty which • 29 retail outlets strategically located in major cities such as Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Onitsha, Asaba, Makurdi, Sapele etc. • A fleet of 75 tank trucks for petroleum product distribution • 3 shipping vessels We purchase products from PPMC and also import from reputable off-shore suppliers such as Glencore Energy UK Limited and VITOL. To drive efficient delivery of products to our national network of retail outlets and customers we utilise our fleet of tank trucks. Rainoil maintains an active involvement in petroleum product distribution in the Lagos market via purchases from other marketers e.g. Oando Marketing Plc, Folawiyo Energy Limited and Sahara Energy Limited. Rainoil has finance facilities in excess of USD170million from different banks for importation of petroleum products. With a staff strength of over 500 trained personnel, we have developed a strong track record of quality product and service delivery.

Job Summary 

The Brand and Corporate Communication Executive is responsible for shaping, maintaining, and promoting the corporate image, brand identity, and communication strategies of Rain oil . This role involves managing internal and external communication, enhancing brand visibility, and ensuring consistency across all communication platforms. The executive works closely with marketing, public relations, and senior management to create compelling messages that align with the Rain oil vision, values, and strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities

Top of Mind Awareness of the Brand:

  • Develop strategies to keep the brand at the forefront of consumers\' minds.
  • Implement marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and recognition.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends to adjust brand strategies accordingly.

Procurement of Branded Collateral Production:

  • Coordinate the creation and production of branded marketing materials and collateral.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all materials, maintaining visual and messaging standards.

Facilities Branding:

  • Manage the branding and visual identity of company facilities, offices, and physical spaces including repairs.
  • Maintain a cohesive and consistent brand experience for visitors and employees.

Brand Adherence:

  • Enforce brand guidelines to maintain a consistent brand identity across all communication channels.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams to ensure brand adherence in their activities.
  • Conduct Brand audit to ensure adherence across the organisation.

Products Branding and packaging.

  • Develop branding strategies for new products, ensuring alignment with the overall brand image.
  • Oversee the creation of product-specific marketing materials and packaging.

Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR):

  • Develop and communicate the company\'s CSR initiatives and efforts to the public.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to execute CSR programs and report on their impact.

Products Launch:

  • Plan and execute launch strategies for new products, including messaging, events, and 
  •  with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product launch.

Stations Streaming:

  • Manage the branding and content strategy for streaming of stations.
  • Ensure that the company\'s streaming content aligns with its brand values and messaging.

Corporate Communications:

  • Craft and distribute corporate announcements, press releases, and official statements.
  • Manage media relations and ensure a consistent and positive corporate image in the media.

Events Management:

  • Plan and coordinate corporate events, trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Ensure the brand is well-represented and the messaging is consistent during events.

Requirements

  •  Minimum of 3 -5 years combined experience in the Marketing/Corporate Communication in Oil and Gas Industry business and Marketing or Branding Agency with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Social Sciences, or any other relevant discipline.

Desirable:

  • A relevant MBA / Master’s Degree with a specialist focus on Marketing
