Job Purpose
- The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive brand growth, consumer engagement, and profitability.
- This role demands alignment of marketing activities with business objectives.
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand strategies, positioning, and communication plans.
- Lead new product development (NPD) and manage go-to-market launches.
- Conduct consumer and market analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Drive advertising campaigns, media planning, digital initiatives, and PR activities.
- Partner with trade marketing and sales to ensure strong in-market execution.
- Monitor and report on brand performance metrics (market share, awareness, profitability).
- Manage annual brand budget and ensure ROI from marketing investments.
- Oversee creative agencies, vendors, and research partners.
KPIs:
- Market share growth & brand penetration.
- Brand awareness and equity scores.
- ROI on marketing spend.
- Successful and timely NPD launches.
- Consumer engagement (digital and offline).
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 5–8 years of marketing/brand management experience (FMCG preferred).
- Strong analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in consumer insights, market research, and P&L management.
