Roles & Responsibilities
- Articulate the overall IT strategy and ensure alignment with the organisation’s strategy, business goals and objectives.
- Translate business imperatives and strategy into information technology solutions to support business operations and improve cost effectiveness and service quality.
- Oversee and coordinate the information technology environment and ensure consistent IT system availability to sustain business operations.
- Manage the IT function and ensure the right balance of people, processes, products, services to continuously support the business.
- Collaborate with business functions and subsidiaries to identify IT requirements and acquire technology solutions in line with overall corporate and business strategy.
- Manage and control annual operating and capital expenditure budget for IT to ensure consistency with overall strategic objectives.
- Continually review and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the IT function’s policies, procedures and processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required in Engineering or Computer Science.
- A relevant Masters Degree or MBA in relevant field.
- Minimum of fifteen years (15) years’ cognate experience in broad-based IT Operations.
- Proven expertise in leading and managing large teams in a multinational with at least five years in a process manufacturing environment.
- In-depth experience in managing complex ERP-centric and SAP environments.
- IT Certifications in Applications, Security, Project Management and related fields are desirable.
