Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote the organization's mission, programs, and initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials. Coordinate media events, interviews, and press conferences.
  • Create, edit, and oversee the production of various communication materials, including newsletters, reports, brochures, and social media content.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the organization's brand and objectives.
  • Develop and manage internal communication channels to ensure employees are informed about key updates, initiatives, and organizational news.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and communication campaign performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage the organization's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Handle crisis communication and develop strategies to mitigate potential reputational risks.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather information and create cohesive communication plans that support organizational goals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in corporate communications and public relations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong media relations skills and experience working with journalists and media outlets.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of crisis communication strategies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform communication strategies.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
