Position Overview

The Digital Marketer will design and execute FiNGO Consulting’s digital marketing and business-development strategy. The role combines online marketing expertise with lead generation and client outreach, ensuring the company maintains a strong digital presence while actively sourcing and pursuing new consultancy opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Brand Visibility

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with FiNGO’s business objectives.
  • Manage content creation and campaigns across the website, email, and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate paid advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) and optimize SEO/SEM for higher search rankings.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs such as web traffic, engagement, and campaign ROI.

Opportunity Sourcing & Lead Generation

  • Identify consultancy opportunities online—including tenders, RFPs, donor-funded projects, and partnership calls—via relevant portals, professional networks, and industry websites.
  • Build and maintain a database of prospects and qualified leads.
  • Draft and send personalized outreach emails to potential clients and partners.
  • Follow up on leads through email, calls, and LinkedIn to nurture relationships and convert prospects into contracts.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to prepare capability statements and marketing collateral for proposals.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM or lead tracker, recording all communications and next steps.
  • Provide weekly reports on leads generated, proposals submitted, and follow-up status.
  • Support the consulting team in scheduling meetings and presentations with prospects.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in digital marketing and B2B lead generation, preferably in professional services or consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and identify consultancy opportunities on donor, government, or private-sector platforms.
  • Strong email marketing skills and familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive outreach and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, and social media advertising.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number and quality of consultancy opportunities identified monthly.
  • Growth in qualified leads and conversion rate to proposals or contracts.
  • Increase in website traffic, social engagement, and email campaign metrics.
  • ROI on paid advertising campaigns.
