Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce & Web Systems Specialist to manage our online sales channels, support system integrations, and enhance our digital presence.
  • The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with e-commerce experience to drive efficiency, improve customer experience, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize online sales channels, including Shopify, Jumia, and local Nigerian e-commerce platforms.
  • Execute email and marketing campaigns to boost online sales performance.
  • Implement and maintain SEO strategies, including keyword optimization and content uploads.
  • Collect, process, and analyze data to generate insights and recommend process improvements.
  • Support system integrations, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with the IT team and external partners.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and tools that support business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement technical, business, and user-focused solutions.
  • Manage multiple tasks/projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in designing and developing applications.
  • Proficiency in APIs, Webhooks, Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL.
  • Experience with NetSuite (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Jumia Vendor/Seller Central.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Previous experience in customer service or e-commerce (preferred).
