Job Objective

Contribute to the organization’s success by seeking new business opportunities to sell infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions. Take responsibility for initiating and building favorable. professional client relationships at key accounts with a goal to drive client satisfaction and long-term value.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, lead generation, pipeline management, account management, opportunity management, deal progression and forecasting to deal closure.
  • Achieve assigned quarterly/annual sales revenue and or profit target.
  • Acquire new accounts and discover new opportunities in both old and new accounts.
  • Use extensive knowledge and understanding of solutions and services offered by the company to close on new opportunities within key accounts with focus on the financial services sector, telcos, etc.
  • Understand prospective client needs and align proposed solutions with their technical and business objectives
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, infrastructure and deployment teams to craft tailored bids/proposals and product demos and present them clearly and persuasively
  • Take responsibility for ensuring POCS are delivered to customers successfully
  • Work with team members to determine pricing, negotiate contracts, SLAs and successfully close agreements to maximize profits
  • Liaise between customers and the engineering teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions and services in accordance with customer requirements
  • Grow and develop the company’s market and mind share within assigned sectors.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline to ensure targets are achieved or surpassed achievement
  • Develop and recommend sales and marketing strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative.
  • Rapidly generate and progress leads to opportunities
  • Effectively progress opportunities through the company’s deal stages to ensure shorter sales cycles
  • Lead and implement go-to-market propositions in each business sector; work with marketing and engineering teams to produce a focused proposition.
  • Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction, act as an advisor to the customer.

Qualification

  • BSC degree

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to identify opportunities and match solutions to needs
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Proven track record in developing successful sales and marketing strategies
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
  • 5+ years of B2B cybersecurity, infrastructure and IT enterprise sales experience
  • Proven experience and success as an Account Manager or other relevant role
