Job Brief:

  • We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide strategic and technical leadership across all technological aspects of our organization.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, data analytics, network management, ERP implementation, and budgeting.
  • They must be adept at working with C-level executives to drive technological innovation and align IT strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring, regular testing, and updates of all cyber defense mechanisms.
  • Stay updated with the latest cyber threats and ensure proactive measures are in place to mitigate risks.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines based on industry best practices.

Data Analytics:

  • Oversee the development and management of data analytics platforms to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain data management systems to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract insights and inform decision-making.

Network Management:

  • Design, implement, and manage the organization’s network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Oversee the management of managed switches and other network components.
  • Ensure robust network security measures are in place and maintained.

ERP Implementation:

  • Lead the implementation and management of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Ensure the ERP system is aligned with business processes and provides accurate and timely information.
  • Oversee the upgrade and maintenance of ERP systems to leverage new features and capabilities.

IT Budgeting:

  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective investments in technology.
  • Monitor and report on IT spending, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through efficient use of technology and resources.

Artificial Intelligence:

  • Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance day-to-day operations and decision-making processes.
  • Utilize AI technologies to analyse data and generate actionable insights for informed business decisions.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and integrate relevant technologies into the organization’s operations.

Collaboration with C-Level Executives:

  • Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and other C-level executives to align technology strategies with business objectives.
  • Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology trends and their potential impact on the organization.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all IT-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR and NDPR.
  • Develop and manage KPIs to assess technological performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements and Skills:

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, data analytics, network management, and ERP implementation.
  • Strong administrative experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Sophos solutions and managed switches.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage IT budgets.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, NDPR, and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central ERP systems.
  • Experience in a Food and Beverages company or related industry is highly beneficial.
  • Ideal candidate should be able to come up with a basic managed network for the head office.
  • Ideal candidate should be able to detail how they would implement the cybersecurity policies.
  • Ideal candidate should have managed a large network or implemented an ERP at a large scale
