Job Summary
- The Group Head, Information Systems and Technology will support the Group Exco in ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality IT services within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of strategic and operational plans for IT across the organisation. Ensures that all necessary ICT tools, processes and systems are in place to meet operational requirements and changing technological advancements
- Monitor to ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organisation
- Assess operational risks associated with critical IT operations and develops strategies for minimising or eliminating the occurrence of such risks
- Develop a cybersecurity awareness culture through training and consulting on cybersecurity issues
- Monitor and manage security incidents that occur within the organisation - adopt and apply the organisation's incident, alert and crisis management procedures
- Assist in preparing the annual IT budget in a timely manner; Monitor implementation to minimise deviations and ensures adequate return on IT investments
- Lead the integration of business process with the BCMS and ensure that business continuity strategies are well documented
- Report to Executive Management on all business continuity related matters on a regular basis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 8 years IT experience, 4 of which must be within the manufacturing industry with at least 3 years at a managerial level
- Experience in a multi-site SAP environment
- Relevant certification such as ITIL, CCNP, MCP or CCNA
- MCSD certification or a knowledge of industry “Best Practices” for patterns and system architectural design
- Previous experience in IT Strategy Formulation and Implementation
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure Management
- Working knowledge of Business Continuity Planning.
