Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to the Systems & Network team, ensuring that appropriate skilled resources are in place to meet required service levels
- Work with Head of Service Delivery & Support to establish standards and best practices for managing internal infrastructure, including network, access rights, desktops, servers, and internal applications.
- Work closely with the IT Service Desk and other Specialist to ensure a timely, robust and comprehensive service transition process
- Responsible for overall system and infrastructure availability and developing a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures.
- Ensure that systems, processes and methodologies are maintained, and followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery
- Install, configure and support new and existing servers, services and network infrastructure
- Plan and implement upgrades needed to maintain service levels
Operational Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing systems and infrastructure owned by Vatebra or managed by proxy for Vatebra’s clients including but not limited to Hosted cloud environments and services and network infrastructure (virtual and on-premise).
- Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure service delivery methods and procedures
- Implement policies/standards to improve the quality and efficiency of services based on ITIL methodology
- Implement Information Security Management Systems policies/standards to improve the security posture of services based on ISO27001:2022 standard
- Ensure service uptime consistent with Business goals and metrics
- Develop and lead the replacement of infrastructure at end-of-life
- Ensure reliability of all IT Infrastructure service delivery components with proper system redundancy design.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree with 7 years experience.
