In this role, you will be responsible for reporting on business news, market developments, and economic trends across the United States and Europe. Your role will involve conducting in-depth research, producing high-quality written content, and engaging with key stakeholders to provide valuable insights to our readership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and report on business news, market trends, and economic developments across the United States and Europe.
- Produce high-quality written content, including articles, reports, and analyses, focusing on the Nigerian business landscape in the regions.
- Conduct interviews with local entrepreneurs, business leaders, and industry experts to gather insights and perspectives.
- Monitor and report on regulatory changes, policy developments, and market dynamics affecting Nigerian businesses across the US and Europe.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of content delivery.
- Engage with our audience through various platforms, including social media, to foster discussion and interaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English Language, Mass Communication, Journalism, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in journalism, reporting, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of business environments, economic indicators, and market dynamics across the United States and Europe.
- Must understand macroeconomic subjects and have knowledge of capital markets.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience covering international business news and market developments
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with content management systems.
