Job Summary

  • The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's software and hardware infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and alignment with business objectives.
  • This role involves managing software development projects, maintaining hardware systems, and leading a team of IT professionals.

Responsibilities
Software Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute software development projects in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ensure the development of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Manage the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance software capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their software needs and provide effective solutions.

Hardware Management:

  • Oversee the organization's hardware infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of hardware systems.
  • Develop and implement hardware maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware upgrades or replacements to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage relationships with hardware vendors and negotiate contracts.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate a team of IT professionals, including software developers, system administrators, and support staff.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures for both software and hardware systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to cybersecurity.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Budgeting and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and operational needs.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and end-users.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of software and hardware projects.
  • Facilitate training sessions for end-users on new software or hardware implementations.
