Summary

  • We are looking for an IT Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.
  • The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.

Duties

  • Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security
  • Locating and seizing chances to enhance and update software and systems
  • Creating and implementing the organization’s IT policy and best practice manuals
  • Creating workshops and training programmes for staff
  • Performing routine system audits
  • Running routine system operations reports and sharing them with top employees
  • Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages
  • Managing and reporting on the IT budget’s allocation
  • Advising the IT staff
  • Looking for opportunities to train and build teamwork skills

Skills and Qualification

  • Proven working experience of 3 years and above as an IT Manager or relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  • Expertise in data centre management and data governance
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Ability to manage personnel
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
