Job Summary

  • The position duties manages the network and server infrastructure of a company. The primary duties are the security of the company’s computer systems and electronic data, development and implementation of customized systems and overseeing all computer-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees for software, hardware, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain a helpdesk system and ensure timely resolution of IT-related issues.
  • Manage and maintain servers, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure smooth operation.
  • Implement and manage network security measures.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
  • Ensure all hardware and software comply with company standards.
  • Implement and manage data protection and privacy policies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage IT projects from conception through to completion.
  • IT procurement for Nigeria (request verification/Quote collection/approval process/ Purchase
  • Remote Support for the outstation users.
  • Support and technical advice for the new IT requirements and software requirements
  • vender follow ups - IT related

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT support or system administration role.
  • Certifications: Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
  • Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macros).
  • Experience with network administration and cybersecurity practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies is a plus.
