RedAid Nigeria is a Nigerian non-governmental organisation. Our mission is to provide healthcare services to indigent people affected by neglected tropical diseases and other diseases associated with poverty and their consequences such as disabilities. We focus on health in a holistic approach and enable Nigerians with impairments to (re)gain control of their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Provide technical support to staff on IT-related issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the organization’s data and systems, implementing best practices for data backup and protection.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective use of technology resources.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in IT, making recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs, providing training and support as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in IT support or systems administration roles.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and network infrastructure.
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices and data protection protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
