Job Summary
- The IT Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including hardware, software, and all configurations.
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Monitor network performance to ensure availability and reliability.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Provide technical support for end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Respond to IT support tickets promptly and efficiently.
- Train staff on the use of IT resources and systems.
- Maintain an updated inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses.
- Implement and manage security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and data.
- Monitor security systems to detect and respond to threats.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
- Ensure regular maintenance of systems and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support or network administration.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
- Proficient in Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
