Job Description
- As an IT Support Intern, you will be responsible for meeting with clients to identify issues, diagnose hardware or software problems, provide effective solutions, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Your role may also include installing new software applications and training clients on their proper use.
Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring client computer systems.
- Responding to client IT support requests.
- Meeting with clients to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
- Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing computer systems (Laptop/Server/Desktop/Printer, etc.) and maintaining records.
- Resolving IOS/Windows/MS Office-related issues.
- Conducting software update checks (Antivirus/Windows/MS Office).
- Ensuring Network Uplink uptime (escalating issues to the appropriate body/vendor/engineer).
- Configuring firewalls and managing policies.
- Email configuration and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- B.Sc / HND from a reputable institution.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven work experience as a technical support engineer.
- Knowledge of web services, API, and IP-based protocols.
- Familiarity with computer hardware and networking systems.
- Strong time management skills.
