Responsibilities
- Research and Solutions: Lead in researching IT solutions to various problems, evaluating alternatives, and providing recommendations based on business needs.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Responsible for configuring, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting all IT infrastructure, including but not limited to Firewalls, Databases, Servers, Malware Protection Software, Cisco Switches/Routers, PBX, CCTV, etc.
- Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage systems and network growth plans, along with annual IT budgets.
- IT Processes: Create, administer, and maintain IT processes and plans, including Change Management and Disaster Recovery plans.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of computer systems, applications, and IT equipment.
- Technology Updates: Keep the Managing Director informed of the latest tools and technologies that can reduce downtime, protect systems, and increase productivity.
- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support across the company (in person or remotely), including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- System Setup and Maintenance: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners, etc.
- User Accounts: Set up accounts for new users/staff, ensuring they are properly onboarded and know how to log in.
- Equipment Repairs: Repair and replace parts of equipment as necessary and obtain replacement or specialist components as needed.
- Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to service issues and requests, ensuring that systems and users experience minimal downtime.
- Security and Risk Management: Solve password issues, investigate software/hardware faults, and ensure overall security protocols are adhered to.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 3 years work experience
