We are seeking a seasoned Media Strategist with substantial experience in the media space, including traditional media channels such as TV, radio, digital marketing and print. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of developing and executing successful media strategies that drive brand awareness and achieve marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Audience Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive research to understand target audiences’ demographics, behaviors, and preferences across various media channels.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic media planning.
Strategy Development:
- Develop robust media strategies that align with organizational marketing objectives.
- Create detailed media plans outlining the selection of media channels, budget allocation, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Media Planning and Buying:
- Identify and select the most effective traditional media platforms (e.g., TV, radio, print) for campaign placement.
- Negotiate rates and placements with media vendors to secure the best value and exposure.
Campaign Management and Execution:
- Oversee the implementation of media campaigns, ensuring timely launch and adherence to strategic plans.
- Coordinate with creative teams to ensure content aligns with the overall media strategy.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance using relevant analytics tools.
- Optimize media campaigns based on performance data to improve effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
Client Communication and Reporting:
- Provide regular updates to clients or stakeholders on campaign progress and performance.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and insights derived from campaign analytics.
Budget Management:
- Manage and allocate the media budget efficiently to maximize campaign impact.
- Track and report on media expenditures to ensure they remain within budget.
Trend Monitoring and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the media industry.
- Explore new and emerging media opportunities to keep campaigns innovative and effective.
Compliance and Ethical Standards:
- Ensure all media strategies and campaigns comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
- Maintain transparency and integrity in all media dealings and client communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful media campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
