Job Summary:

  • The company is looking to hire an experienced Odoo System Support who will be responsible for developing and implementing backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • As an Odoo System Support, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the Odoo platform. Also, s/he will ensure to provide ongoing support and training to users on utilizing Odoo functionalities and stay informed about Odoo updates and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training and technical support to end-users, ensuring they understand and can effectively use the Odoo system.
  • Create user manuals, document ERP processes, and prepare deployment progress updates for stakeholders.
  • Assist in the creation and management of master data, including Customer, Supplier, Products, and Material records.
  • Investigate Technical Issues.
  • Quantify an issue’s scope and propose a solution
  • Own support tickets and troubleshooting within our organization for Odoo, tools, and services.
  • Working with internal cross-functional teams to solve technical problems for our customers and strategic partners
  • Acting as a technical advisor to our staff and strategic partners
  • Solving technical problems, demonstrating Odoo modules and services, and communicating clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Troubleshoot areas of poor performance and identify effective solutions to resolve issues both in the immediate future and for the longer term.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations on response quality, timeliness of responses, and overall customer experience
  • Comfortable working with Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL in self-hosted, SaaS, and PaaS environments.
  • Document support ticket resolution and apply these fixes for customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and exceptional time management.
  • Must be self-initiative and self-driven, capable of taking proactive steps to address challenges and improve processes within the scope of the role.
  • Creative thinker and strategic problem solver
  • Knowledge of coding/scripting (Bash, Python, JavaScript, etc...).
  • Familiarity with database concepts/scripting
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Demonstrate an affinity for SAAS products that handle CRM, Accounting, Inventory, Sales, and other software verticals
