Job Summary:
- The company is looking to hire an experienced Odoo System Support who will be responsible for developing and implementing backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- As an Odoo System Support, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the Odoo platform. Also, s/he will ensure to provide ongoing support and training to users on utilizing Odoo functionalities and stay informed about Odoo updates and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide training and technical support to end-users, ensuring they understand and can effectively use the Odoo system.
- Create user manuals, document ERP processes, and prepare deployment progress updates for stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation and management of master data, including Customer, Supplier, Products, and Material records.
- Investigate Technical Issues.
- Quantify an issue’s scope and propose a solution
- Own support tickets and troubleshooting within our organization for Odoo, tools, and services.
- Working with internal cross-functional teams to solve technical problems for our customers and strategic partners
- Acting as a technical advisor to our staff and strategic partners
- Solving technical problems, demonstrating Odoo modules and services, and communicating clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
- Troubleshoot areas of poor performance and identify effective solutions to resolve issues both in the immediate future and for the longer term.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations on response quality, timeliness of responses, and overall customer experience
- Comfortable working with Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL in self-hosted, SaaS, and PaaS environments.
- Document support ticket resolution and apply these fixes for customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and exceptional time management.
- Must be self-initiative and self-driven, capable of taking proactive steps to address challenges and improve processes within the scope of the role.
- Creative thinker and strategic problem solver
- Knowledge of coding/scripting (Bash, Python, JavaScript, etc...).
- Familiarity with database concepts/scripting
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, both written and verbally.
- Demonstrate an affinity for SAAS products that handle CRM, Accounting, Inventory, Sales, and other software verticals
