Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and professional Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s public image, building strong relationships with media outlets, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
- As a PRO, you will be responsible for crafting strategic communication plans, handling media inquiries, and promoting the company’s brand and values to the public.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns that align with the company’s goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Organize conferences and other PR events.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
- Handle media inquiries and arrange interviews for company executives.
- Manage the company’s social media presence, ensuring consistent and positive messaging.
- Respond to public and media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute communication plans for product launches, events, and other initiatives.
- Maintain and update the company’s media contact database.
- Monitor industry trends and keep the company’s leadership informed of relevant issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivilent in Public Relations, Businesss Administation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations, business and business adminisrtation.
- Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media relations.
- Experience working with high-profile clients or in a corporate environment is an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be a Male candidate
- Proficiency in Hausa and English Language (Professional Level).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
