Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Executive to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical support team and providing advanced IT support to ensure the smooth operation of our organization's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Escalate critical issues to appropriate teams or vendors when necessary.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and mentor the IT support team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Manage the daily operations of the IT support team, including task assignment, performance monitoring, and coaching.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on the latest technologies and best practices.

System Maintenance and Optimization:

  • Oversee the maintenance, installation, and configuration of IT systems and equipment.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard the organization's IT assets.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of technical issues, solutions, and processes.
  • Generate regular reports on IT support activities, system performance, and team metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve IT support services.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate support.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on IT projects and issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware and software procurement and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) is a plus.
