Leveraging more than a decade of experience, the company was formed by the divestment of the telecommunications services division of Telnet Nigeria Limited and has been in operation for many years. ipNX currently provides a range of communications and IT services to Corporate organizations within Nigeria on its IP (Internet Protocol) based communications network using both radio and satellite communications technologies. As part of its growth strategy, ipNX seeks to also extend its services to small and medium sized businesses and residential customers. In the long term, ipNX has determined that it needs also to have a strategic presence in the wire line market to ensure that we will be able to provide future services, which require high bandwidth in the last mile.

About the Role: 

  • We’re seeking a highly skilled Service Fulfillment & Support Engineer to enhance customer SLAs by minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless service delivery. If you excel in incident management, network implementation, and preventive maintenance, this role is for you! 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Restore service failures within 4 hours for corporate clients and 24 hours for retail clients. 
  • Implement and integrate new projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project plans. 
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on network nodes/segments to prevent future issues. 
  • Provide backend support for integrating new customers and upgrading existing links. 
  • Manage inventory to ensure no stock-outs of tools and materials for network support. 
  • Prepare technical documentation for presales engagements and bid documents. 
  • Deliver weekly support status reports and maintain clear communication via the OTRS Application. 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in incident management, network implementation, and preventive maintenance. 
  • Technical expertise in fiber & microwave radio platforms (GPS, compasses, link budget software). 
  • Strong knowledge of FTTH implementation, troubleshooting, and IP network design. 
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to deliver high-quality network performance. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to reducing MTTR (Mean Time to Repair). 

Bonus Skills (Added Advantage):

  • Experience with network equipment (routers, switches, servers) and network operating systems. 
  • Project management skills, including drafting and adhering to Project Implementation Plans (PIP).
