Job Description
We are seeking to recruit a creative and analytical Social Media and Communications Executive to join our team. This role involves overseeing our social media strategy, managing communication efforts, creating engaging content (emails, posts, graphics, videos, etc.), and participating in digital marketing activities.
The ideal candidate must have an excellent understanding of social media trends and analytics with a passion for digital storytelling while focusing on driving traffic, increasing conversions, and improving customer engagement. Ultimately, you will be responsible for handling our online presence and ensuring a high traffic and engagement rate.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement across all platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, Email, TikTok, etc.)
- Create and manage the content calendar for all social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to grow Sendbox’s presence and maximize engagement.
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions, ensuring timely communication with our audience and monitoring customer reviews
- Launch optimized online ads through Google Adwords, Facebook, etc., and measure performance using Web analytics tools (Buffer, etc.)
- Prepare social media marketing and campaign budgets.
- Present weekly reports to management on activities and metrics based on social media/marketing insights.
- Foster online community growth by initiating conversations and engaging with users and followers.
- Organize and participate in social media events, webinars, or contests to drive engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather insights and information and ensure content is aligned with the company goals.
- Identify opportunities for sponsored content, partnerships, and influencers to enhance brand reach.
- Acquire insight into online marketing trends and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Provide crisis communication responses and recommendations when necessary.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
Skills and Qualification
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, communication, and other related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in related roles—social media management, content creation, digital marketing, etc. Experience with e-commerce/logistics businesses (B2C) is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various digital platforms.
- Proven experience in setting up, monitoring ads and campaigns, as well as using analytical tools (such as Buffer, Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends, etc.) to track and analyze performance.
- Proficiency with design tools, especially Canva and Adobe Express, is required.
- Proficiency with graphics and video design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is desirable.
- Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
