About the job

  • The Social Content Creator is responsible for developing, designing, and distributing engaging content across various social media platforms, with a focus on enhancing brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth.
  • This role requires a creative individual with a deep understanding of social media trends, visual storytelling, and audience engagement strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with the Business Development Team tcreate content that aligns with the brand’s message and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Planning

  • Develop, design, and edit content (e.g., images, videos, animations, stories) for social media platforms including Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Produce original ideas and creative concepts that resonate with the target audience and support brand goals.
  • Plan and execute a content calendar in collaboration with the Business Development team.

Audience Engagement

  • Monitor audience engagement and respond tcomments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, brand-consistent manner.
  • Utilize social listening tools tstay updated on trends and engage with community conversations relevant tthe brand.
  • Conduct polls, Q&A sessions, and interactive posts tincrease engagement.

Trend Monitoring and Idea Generation

  • Stay up tdate on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates tkeep content fresh and relevant.
  • Propose new ideas and creative approaches texpand reach and engagement on existing channels.
  • Engage in E-mail marketing, including building & managing E-mail lists, and executing periodic campaigns.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, Google Analytics) tunderstand what resonates with the audience.
  • Compile monthly/quarterly reports summarizing key metrics and providing insights tinform future content strategies.

Collaboration, Cross-functional Communication & Business Support

  • Collaborate with the Project, and Business Development design teams talign on brand voice, aesthetics, and campaign goals.
  • Ensure all social content aligns with broader business initiatives and brand guidelines.
  • Provide general business support.
  • Design & Create presentations for business proposals.
  • Operate drones & digital cameras tcapture aerial footage, high quality photos and videos for various projects.

Content Optimization

  • Optimize social media posts for SEand brand consistency, adjusting captions, hashtags, and calls taction tincrease visibility.
  • Test and experiment with different content formats and posting times tidentify the best performing approaches.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or a related role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in content creation/design and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, Capcut, Inshot, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, LinkedIn etc.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later).
  • Basic photography and videography skills (drone operations inclusive)are a plus
