Fatgbems Petroleum Company Limited is a member of Fatgbems Group, incorporated as an independent petroleum marketing company under the late founder, Alhaji Fatai Gbemisola in November 1994. The company started the Retail Station services operation with a fuel service Station in Ejigbo, Lagos in 2006. The multi-million petroleum marketing business expanded rapidly with the establishment of several other service Stations in other parts of South-Western States. We own and operate a very big tank farm that can store millions of refined Petroleum Products.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Executive to manage our online presence across various social platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for content planning, scriptwriting, content creation, and performance analysis to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and support overall digital marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Manage daily operations of all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone across platforms.
  • Script Writing & Content Development: Develop engaging and compelling scripts for video and audio content, posts, and campaigns tailored to different audiences.
  • Content Creation: Create original, high-quality content including graphics, short videos, reels, carousels, and stories using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Scheduling & Publishing: Plan and schedule posts using tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer to ensure consistent online presence.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to messages and comments in a timely manner, and engage with followers to foster a strong community.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Use analytical tools like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, and SEMrush to measure campaign performance, track KPIs, and generate reports for continuous improvement.
  • Trend Monitoring & Strategy Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to develop innovative strategies and content ideas.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to align social media strategies with business goals and campaigns.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Social Media Tools: Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social
  • Graphic Design & Content Tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
  • CMS Platforms: WordPress, Joomla
  • Analytics Tools: Google Analytics, SEMrush, platform-specific insights
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
