Job Summary:

  • Creaniacs Africa Group is seeking a highly organized and creative Social Media Manager to oversee and manage multiple social media accounts across various industries. This role is ideal for a digital-savvy professional who can develop content strategies, engage online communities, and bring brands to life with both visuals and storytelling.
  • You’ll be responsible for handling daily social media activity across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter—creating content calendars, editing videos, writing captions, and tracking performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow multiple brand accounts across different social media platforms.
  • Plan, create, post and schedule engaging, high-quality content tailored to each brand and platform.
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost engagement, visibility, and audience growth.
  • Edit short-form video content (e.g., Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) in line with each brand’s aesthetic.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to align content with marketing goals and campaigns.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions to build an active online community.
  • Monitor platform analytics and prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with algorithm changes, viral trends, and digital best practices.
  • Attend one monthly in-person meeting at the Creaniacs office (Ilupeju, Lagos) for alignment and team collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience managing multiple social media accounts.
  • Must be able to edit videos (experience with CapCut, InShot, VN, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency in graphic design platforms like Canva and scheduling tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later, etc.
  • An understanding of platform-specific algorithms, content formats, and audience behavior.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Must use a smartphone (iPhone preferred) and have access to stable internet.
