Job Summary
- The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the social media strategy across all subsidiaries of the aviation logistics group. This role will focus on enhancing brand visibility, driving engagement, and supporting business objectives through innovative and data-driven social media campaigns.
- The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for aviation, travel, and logistics, and has a proven track record of managing multiple brands across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the group’s overall marketing goals and brand identity.
- Tailor strategies for each subsidiary, ensuring consistency while addressing unique audience needs.
Content Creation & Management:
- Create, curate, and manage high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos, infographics) for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce compelling multimedia content.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely delivery of campaigns.
Community Engagement:
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a positive online community and build relationships with influencers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversions) using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
- Prepare regular reports and provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including budget management and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
Brand Advocacy:
- Ensure all social media content aligns with the group’s brand guidelines and values.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation.
Crisis Management:
- Monitor social media channels for potential issues or crises and respond promptly to mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / HND
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the aviation, travel, or logistics industry.
- Proven experience managing multiple brands or subsidiaries simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and campaigns.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of aviation, travel, or logistics industries is a plus.
