JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Lead and manage the social media team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality, engaging content across all social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn).
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities to engage with our audience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, PR, and creative teams to align social media activities with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess performance and inform future strategies.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance optimization.
  • Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Plan and execute social media events, live streams, and collaborations with influencers and partners.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-year proven experience in social media management and team lead roles.
  • Professional qualifications, certifications, and memberships are an added advantage.
  • Proficient in the use of Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social), graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with influencer marketing and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills; ability to work with minimal or zero supervision.
