Job Summary
Norrenberger Financial Group is seeking to hire a Team Lead, IT. The Team Lead, Information Technology is responsible for developing and executing the Group’s Information strategy. This role ensures the effective integration of technology to support business operations, drive innovation, enhance customer experience, and secure the Group’s digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will provide visionary leadership, manage cross-functional technology teams, and drive digital transformation initiatives that align with business objectives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct the design, development and implementation of the Group’s IT Strategy and Core Banking Solution.
- Direct and oversee all IT /Business Solutions related projects to ensure that they are delivered and deployed cost effectively.
- Oversee process reengineering, systems development, and enhancement as well as the integration of new systems with existing systems.
- Ensure that IT systems and procedures promote data and information security and business continuity.
- Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations including infrastructure management, system administration and technical support
- Maintain and upgrade IT infrastructure to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements while ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation for technology initiatives
- Build and manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring quality and value-driven partnerships.
- Advise executive management on emerging technologies and recommend innovations that can drive growth and digital leadership.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or relevant field is an added advantage.
- Project management expertise (PMP, PRINCE2 certification is a plus)
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy regulations, and IT controls
KNOWLEDGE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within financial services or a technology-driven organization.
- Strong background in enterprise IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and project management.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing large-scale IT transformations or core banking systems.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent understanding of IT governance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
